Hit The Hills with the Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Club!

Spring is almost here, so it’s time to get back outside and enjoy Caledon East’s gorgeous landscapes. One of the best and most convenient ways is by joining the Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Club!

This is one of the nine member clubs that form the Bruce Trail Conservancy. The mission of the Bruce Trail Conservancy and of the Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Club is “to establish a conservation corridor containing a public footpath along the Niagara Escarpment, in order to protect its natural ecosystems and to promote environmentally responsible public access to this UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.”

You get to enjoy many kilometres of main and side trails within the Caledon Hills section of the Bruce Trail. Check out the trail map to see just how much ground you can cover!

Becoming a member is beneficial in two ways:

- you get to meet people interested in the outdoors

- you help to preserve this conservation for both you and future generations to enjoy

The Annual General Meeting and Potluck Dinner held at Caledon Village Place is coming up on Sunday, April 3, 2011.

The day has lots to offer – a guest speaker, hiking, dinner and so much more – so join today and get outdoors!
