The Albion Orchards Apple Farm and Country Market is one of these options. Having just opened last Saturday for the season, it will provide you with a supply of fresh, local apple cider, fresh picked corn and other seasonal vegetables, 100% non-pasteurized honey, maple syrup, preserves, cheese and sausage, and more, all a short drive from Pathways.
If you prefer to pick your own apples (or if you’ve ever wondered what that would be like), you can do that at Albion Orchards. Few places are as suited for this fun activity, since Albion Orchards features patches of many varieties, including Cortland, Crispin, Empire, McIntosh, Northern Spy and Spartan.
The Farms’ friendly staff is available by phone at (905) 584-0354 or email at office@albionorchards.com. It’s open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until October 31 (the hours will then become shorter until the farm closes on December 23).
