Do You Know This Amazing Fishing Spot?

With summer in full swing, isn’t it time you took the little ones fishing?

If you live in Caledon East, you have an excellent fishing spot only a short drive from you. Glen Haffy Conservation Area, at the crossroads of the Niagara Escarpment and the Oak Ridges Moraine, is a beautiful spot where natural trails wind through mature forests and impressive hills, leading to two regularly stocked trout ponds.

Don’t have your own fishing equipment? Rent it on the premises, where you can also buy bait. And if you’re part of a large group, you can rent one of two private ponds that are never open to the public.

In fact, if you fish often enough, consider becoming a member of the Glen Haffy Fishing Club, which gives you access to the private ponds six days a week from April to October, complete with access to a cabin, rowboats, and a barbecue.

Don’t forget, in addition to amazing fishing, you can reserve one of seven picnic sites for a great family picnic, go for a hike, and enjoy excellent bird-watching.

Of course, feel free to pay us a visit at the Pathways Presentation Centre, open weekdays 1-7pm (except Fridays), and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11am to 6pm. We can’t cook your trout for you, but we can always answer your questions about Pathways!
