Is Canada Day different in Caledon?

Strobist & Strawberry Pancakes
Just one of many local attractions.

You can celebrate Canada Day in many ways.

But only in Caledon East can you celebrate our Independence Day surrounded by strawberry pancakes, horses, classic cars, animals for you to pet, and even a clown or two (not to be petted).

This Friday July 1st, from 10am to 4pm at the Caledon Fairgrounds & Caledon Village Place, Caledon East kicks off its annual Canada Day celebrations with a strawberry pancake breakfast.

Diverse activities follow, including a silent auction, a food booth featuring hamburgers and strawberry shortcake, exhibits, vendors, crafts, and an equine demo, among others.

Hosted by the Caledon Agricultural Society, the celebration is a great way to mingle and meet future neighbours, and to see for yourself the many charms of Caledon. Click here for details.

At night, there will also be fireworks and more celebrations at Albion Hills Conservation Area. Head over around 4pm for free live entertainment, a magic show, live music, hay rides, and fireworks at dusk. We’ll be there with a booth so make sure you stop by and say hello! Our Presentation Centre is closed Friday, but come by on Saturday or Sunday anytime from 11am until 6pm.

Have a great weekend and Happy Canada Day!
