Where to Have Great Food in Caledon East—on Us

You probably know Caledon East is a great place for families.

It’s not only one of the greenest and safest cities in Canada, it also has good schools and plenty of parks.

There are also lots of great places to take your family out for special meals, including the Consulate Dining Lounge at the Royal Ambassador.

Set in a country oasis of 55 acres of parkland and 20 acres of lake, the Ambassador features two large indoor meeting rooms, an outdoor facility, a private boardroom and a cozy meeting area by the fireplace.

Clearly, this isn’t a modest small town restaurant.

As for food, the Consulate Dining Lounge does serve familiar (and delicious) fare such as quiche and burgers. But it also features delicacies such as filet mignon, blue crab and avocado salad, seafood linguini, and delicious desserts that are crafted in-house.

In addition to such an extensive menu, the Consulate Dining Lounge features a complete wine program that was recently awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

And as if a lavish décor, delicious food, and great wine weren’t enough, the venue hosts live music every Friday and Saturday night.

Hungry yet?

Don’t despair—we wouldn’t write so extensively about this place just to make you suffer.

To make it easy for you to check out the Consulate Dining Lounge at the Royal Ambassador, we’re holding a sweepstake on our Facebook page. Simply tell us what your favourite summer activity is and you could win a $100 gift card to the Ambassador’s Consulate Dining Lounge.

Hurry though—the sweepstake ends on July 4!
